Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
Not too cool, but rained recently.
The couple that looked after our dog really enjoyed having her for the night. Linda is a dog trainer, and managed a little time with ocean. Way calmer than last week. Linda trained us a little as well.

Thinking about selling my 72 special order 340 each code Duster with matching numbers and build sheet... Car is Tawny gold, ordered with the steel wheels and dog dish, stripe delete split bench seat and vinyl top has sleeper written all over it...
I think 20k would take it, motor runs and does not smoke or not, transmission will move the car enough to get it on and off of a trailer but it's a true barn find and needs completely gone over and redone...
I didn't post a wanted ad or a for sale ad, I'm just kicking it around to get some thoughts before anybody loses their s*** over this being in the cup of coffee forum lol
Without pictures, after a quick browse around to see what restored or driving ones are going for, you’re about twice as high as it seems the going rate is right now.

No problem. I'm over 70 and still don't have my chit together.

Thanks, never have seen but will likely get one as seem to do enough filters will need it somewhere even if this one's too damaged.
Screw driver, ball peen hammer. All ya need. Messy though

Thanks Frank, I'm not sure what those look like but I'll search.
The blue points have grippy stuff on the band, they grab before crushing filter. Problem is you need to find a snap on truck. The 3 fingered wrench is nice, can put a long ratchet on it.
Trick is to apply pressure and wait. They let go slowly

Going to be looking for a gasket kit for a mopar oil filter adapter, and I thought I did a bang up job installing it, was good till last Wensday when I let her run for a good 20 minutes, at 1.300 rims, I have 65 cold and 50 warm oil pressure, set my foot on the throttle to 2.200 rpms for 1 and a half minutes, she is smooth as silk and running good at 184 degrees, but when I shut her down and looked at things I find a leak .. still very happy with this 360 build.

Thanks, when I did that the skin of the filter just tore open on both sides where screwdriver went in and out of filter. Also I did it towards the "top" of filter because I didn't know how far into the filter body the oil tube/pipe protruded, didn't want to hit it.

Running cool and looking good!

Thanks guys I've never seen. Any special name for it or pic, I'm leaning towards buying something not flimsy. For the Kubota tractor they put the first filter on then PAINT the tractor orange with it so that was a fun one too. This one's not painted but damn it's tight
Rich, here is a pic of the one that I have had for many years. I think it is made by KD tool. But it's not marked. Quite heavy duty. The only thing is it doesn't do large filters. But they probably make one for that as well.

Boy I sold a lot of Lisle, KD, Thexton and the like. They were handy little specialty tools to make the job go faster and smoother. Most were less than $50.

The Chevy and Nea son dealership I worked for years ago had those, I sure don't miss those days I must say.

I usually aim for the middle to lower third. Usually won’t hit the adapter tube that far down. Plus you’ll know if you hit it.

That said, Wth did you do on the old one putting it on, lock tight?
