Hey bartender!
Haven't been to a doctor in almost 40 years. Was curious about my health but never wanted to find out in the US. I figured they would find something wrong that required some kind of pill. I take nothing but 2 or 3 ibuprofen per year. A buddy here in Mexico hooked me up with his doctor and I went and had blood work done. Everything came out right in the normal range except my blood sugars. Normal was something like 80 to 100.. mine was 39. Was told not to worry and the cause was the fasting before the test. I have a finger jab test at home and it shows me to be normal most of the time. I feel kinda blessed to have reasonably good health at 60 years considering my drinking and smoking lifestyle! I have always eaten rather well and I figure that has been a big factor .Yeah, She checked everything , including kidney function. Since I only go once a year, she usually throws the book at me. Like I have said before at 5'11 my weight is 188lbs and never varies by more than 6 or 7 lbs. Goes down , mostly when Im in VN. Pretty sure its the better food. The daily exercise helps also. That would be true for anybody though. I think the deal with me is that, I am small boned, and was a very skinny kid. 130lbs at HS graduation. Didnt like being so skinny so I began to eat lots of protein and started working out and lifting weights at age 21. Now going on 67 in a few months, but feeling much younger.........edit... Long as I dont drink too much and get hungover....LOL....
