Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
I'm drinking coffee again/still.
Damn this garage is a mess! Been at it a couple hours and it looks worse than when I started.

Ever go near the Fla/Al line? There's a bar there called the Floribama.. lively joint back in the day!
Flora-Bama !!!
Man that place brings back memories !!!
I went there over ten years ago.
My brother had a condo in Perdido Key and that place was 2 blocks away.
Me and friend mine left Austin to visit my little brother, spend the night partying on bourbon street in New Orleans and headed to Florida, stop off in biloxi miss to gamble at the casino and then to my brother place...then to Flora-Bama till closing.
I remember you walk thru a small liquor store to enter the bar .

Cool that someone else knows the place! Been near 30 years since i was there, but i sure had fun then!

Well I decided to take hops advice. Which is to sell the shop and move on. I have been renting most of it out for awhile. Going to find a machinery broker for all the bigger equipment that I have in another building and sell that also. Two press brakes 150 and 90 ton. Ten ft. 1/4 shear. 5 punch presses and two iron workers both 80 ton. Plus a lot of smaller stuff. I guess the final straw was Thursday's mail included my new tax assessment on the properties. Up from 12k a year to 18,500. Add use and occupancy tax. Yep you can own the property and pay real-estate taxes but if you want to actually use it then that's a separate monthly tax. Up from 300 month to 1,500. I'm done.

Good call. I'd be out too!

Only problem is I have to help the young man I gave the railing business to find a place to work out of. Well I don't have to but I feel obligated. He stayed on and helped me when others walked when I was unable to run things for medical reasons.

One thing I know is it won't be in the city.

Trying to figure out what I want to drink, or pop out of a bottle. To many choices.

I got the garage to a point I can unload the slant if Mr Hops @halifaxhops makes it down tomorrow. And here is his table ready for pick up.
