I spent a good part of 30 years working outside in the weather. The older I get the more I dislike the frigid cold and snow. This winter for the first time we will spend about five weeks at various times through the winter in warmer places. I'm hoping this leads to a couple months next winter snow birding south somewhere.Agree. Fall is my favorite time of year, beautiful colors and temps. However, then all the leaves are gone and we have approximately 5 months of cold weather

Yes, dual batteries. The issues I see, is the design itself. Electric over hydraulic injection system. It will not even try to fire an injector without 300rpm and 300lbs of oil pressure. Over time, wiring gets old, resistance goes up, hp oil pump wears, and 7.3L of very cold cast iron with high compression draws them down very quickly. It is an uphill battle.

Funny you say that. No, no they don't. BUT they did send out a survey asking about charging stations for EV cars. Wait a Good God Damn Minute, I can't plug my truck in so it starts, but they can charge their batteries for free all day? Ok, fine but maybe they can pay for my "fuel" too? Probably not.
