Stop in for a cup of coffee

My Dad was an electronics nut. But then , he was also an Airborne RTO all of his Military career . I remember he built a Heathkit 27in color TV around 1969. No cabinet. He built it into the wall in the family room. Then I built a small 12in B&W tv for my room. After he retired, he built a DOS ms computer that he used to run I's and O's on. I never did understand that stuff, but it excited him. R.I.P. Dad...Still miss You...
Good stuff there, my Dad kinda similar in hobbies, was a Sonarman in Navy, built custom monster Electro-voice speakers and Heathkit stuff, got me my first crystal radio set from Radio Shack.

Crystal radios. They were magical.

Morning, overcast but nice out. Out here in Eastern Colorado the wind blows all the leaves into Kansas.

Tires. Its all a crapshoot now. I run sailun terramax, very happy with them, they wear well. Buddy bought BFG’s around the same time, had an alignment and the tires are scrubbing really bad. And noisy. I put more miles on mine, still holding up well.

I just put 2 Dunlop American Elite on my Harley...Was still $400......... :BangHead: :mob:

I've been fairly fortunate with less known brands... or the "off" ones that come from the well known manufacturers

Leaf management round 2 is complete. Looking like an easy year. Half my trees are bare already. Probably a couple more mulching runs in a few areas and one final mowing by Turkey day should be the end of it for this year.

Well I haven't decided on what the main course will be tonight, but there is always room for Jello.

Pellet stove venting is almost done. Need to install a bracket outside, and seal piping inside the house. Pain in the rear, but needed to be done. Now a break and off to chiropractor.
T-Bird drove away today as well. So thats one done abd gone.

Got the truck inspection done. Had to head up toward Martinsburg, Scott ( @Maxcustody ) Only two options nearby and they are 2 weeks out for scheduling.

Tires passed... but I need new ones before winter sets in. I don't need the back of the truck chasing the front.... And there's not much road plowing that happens around here.

Have two estimates... both are around $1k with road hazard and out the door. Going to go with the local shop versus the national chain
