Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning crew. We get our Christmas tree today so I will spend the day decorating. That turkey put me into a sleep coma. It felt good to finally sleep a little.

Morning all !

I can’t do whip cream on my pie. Pumpkin is my favorite and I like to enjoy just the taste of the pie.
Grand daughter rolled back into the garage (where all the cool kids ate) some day I will make it to the big table! Anyway she rolls back in with a big ole scoop of ice cream, and yep whip cream on top. I like the way she thinks! If I had been at the big table I would have missed it. The chatter with all the grand kids is priceless. They crack me up!

Kids are hilarious, don't have any grandkids but nieces and nephews have been entertaining.

We got to watch the second half of the Washington-Dallas game...boring!! With the new TV set up we had game on one and golf on the other and of course with toddies in hand.

What did the little woman think of Thanksgiving American style?
She Liked it. She ate a normal plateful. Then we went to her Vietnamese friends house and we ate more....Vietnamese food....UGH....

Yeah the Commanders didn't put up much of a fight but Dallas' 4 TD's were 4 more than Seahawks, got, now THAT was painful to watch! On second thought we got a defensive TD, forgot about that one, his first in NFL.

We Facetimed with the Florida grandkids yesterday. Our local granddaughters were down there for the week also. The Florida granddaughter was none too happy that we weren't there. We plan on going down there for their spring break week. Of course, two veteran golf tournaments in Mississippi on the way down and two in Alabama on the way back.

Did the Vietnamese friends make any different/Holiday food for Thanksgiving?
Just the normal Viet food... Most Viet people, even if they have been here for years, will eat mostly their native cuisine....Kind a sad. When I visit other countries, I try to conform to their cultures..........

Yeah, would hope for something different but if that's what they do. One sons GF that was over brought a native dish (side) to go with dinner, it was a rice dish, had peppers, bacon and other stuff, was great and not like fried rice (Equador)

I've been on liberty overseas during Ramadan, that sucked! I love eating the local foods but bad timing. Liberty policy was absolutely no walking around with food etc. Lot of other cultural rules, no showing the soles of your feet etc. etc.
