Doing the Christmas lights today.
Helps relieve my usual Holiday Depression.
Picked out my Movie for tonight. A Guy named Joe
The original 1943 with Spencer Tracy. Not the remake.

Putting up decorations does help.

Well, I was out blowing leaves off the driveway and such. My four-cycle Troy-Bilt blower finally gave up the ghost. Has a rod knock. Lol. But I think it is about 10 years old now. Guess I need to order a new one before all the leaves stop falling...kkkkkk

Experimenting with different glues, to see which one will fill cracks and take paint. The sem paint covers nice, and leaves a bit of texture, but i want this to turn out decent. Maybe the epoxy has to fully cure before it sees paint. Gorilla glue is slow to dry.

Washer is loaded and running, about to head outside, 44 and sunny, high of 51, if I was there I would stay in as well. Have a great day, enjoy another cup on me this morning Jaws.
Did same. Threw in some tshirts for work mostly. Then headed out. Got the basement stairwell filled with firewood and started stacking some of what was delivered the other day.

Nice Wood!
Not quite as perfect as the first load. (He said that was the best he had. ) But still way better than any others I have bought

Went to the gym this morning and stopped by the liquor store on the way home. I reserved a Woodford Reserve holiday bottle edition which will be in Tuesday. I picked a couple more while I was there. These two kept showing up on the favorites list so thought I needed to try them.

I like both of those, me personally the 1792 gets the nod!

Welded in the socket on the hammer stand. Then welded a 2x2 tube to a 3”vise. Really happy with it. Also tapped 6 3/8” into top.

I like wild turkey.
Ya, me too. I bought a leftover 1.75 bottle at whiskey tasting a couple weeks ago. It only had a cup or so left but oh was it good. We estimated it at 10 years old. Better than any late model WT 101 they bottle today.

Had 2 sons here the last couple days and still have 1 hanging around that I gave the 73 VW supper Bettle to.
We are working on a plan to chop the **** out of it and stuff some significant HP under it. Should be fun and get time with my son is always rewording.

Mike I have know idea but if it sits on a shelf in a bottle for years is it better?

I had a kid that worked for me , around 1978. We took him in from a Drug Rehabilitation System. And he was a good kid. Parts Driver. Little crazy but a good kid. At that time I was 19 I think, think he was 17 or so. He had a Tattoo on the back of one of his shoulders " Wild Turkey ".. Liked Harleys, but never owned one. He got some kind of settlement from I don;t know from what. He bought a brand new Harley Low Rider...Worked for me bout 6 years, before he rode his Harley off into the Wind........

Older juice is often better. I do think it get's better after it's opened and it sets for a while. I know tastes change but ai have shelfed bottles that weren't good and 6 or so months later they were quite delicious
