Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was thinking there was some kind of drama just could not remember? Good luck and congratulations! Our boy dropped his packet this year as well. I want to say he needs 18 months to get his twenty in. Standard infantry/Airborne medical disability rating. Not sure where he will end up but North of sixty % for sure. Knees and shoulders are garbage.
And I hope he goes and drops his disability claim with the VA also. That is tax free money with additional benefits based on your disability rating.

Got seat frame done and set passenger seat in truck. Not happy with it. Cab is too small. I didnt get seat level, but i think i want to lower both seats anyway. Easy fix.

You get both your retirement and any VA disability I know.
My father in law is only getting his retirement cause his Va rating despite it being cancer, is only 10 percent.

I don't know of a 10% cancer rating, but then it depends how he connected the cancer to his to military service. If it was Agent Orange related 10% doesn't sound right.

Getting ready to make some more fiberglass parts so grabbed some rolls of woven glass and looks like silk but defiantly itchy ****.

They said today, it’s one or the other by law. Interesting
Nope not right the law was changed a few years ago and you can receive both your VA disability and military retirement. You can even get a VA disability while still drilling. You just have to report your drill dates to the VA and a portion of your monthly VA disability pay is deducted. My wife did it for four years. I know a whole lot of people who get both VA and retirement pay. Sounds like some confusion on their end.

I don’t know the details fully. He’s relying on my sister in law who has no military experience, no VA experience to solve it. But he’s chosen to remove himself from our lives so it’s his problem. He got all butt hurt when my wife chewed him out for starting to smoke again after being smoke free for 3 years. My sister in law encouraged him too is the sick thing. Now his cancer is back and back hard.

Most likely. I plan to ask my lawyer about it Monday in our meeting. She’s much more up to date than these dumbass part time jag officers

Yep. There’s way more to that story but ultimately, it’s my wife’s call if she doesn’t want to extend the olive branch
I understand and feel that most families have similar type situations.

For us, 90 percent of all the drama we have had is because we’ve extended olive branches to people that ended up screwing us over in some fashion later on. So we’re done doing that

Anyway, feels very surreal realizing that I have just under 19 months left , 18 drills
