I do know they made two different rear end housings, one for the high ratio and one for the others, the high ratio one has a offset pinion input on it.
True, but this way I can play with the layout and not worry about where I put holes in the walls hanging them and then know exactly where I want to put them after I paint!
Had a busy day...
It didn't start to rain this morning, so I checked the forcast and it wasn't supposed to start until tonight... So I cut the grass so it wouldn't be too long after the next nine days of rain...
Then got the kid's 71 Valiant of the jack stands and out of the garage so we can get Eddie's car in...
Then Eddie arrived and we cleaned the garage...
Then got the engine off the stand and Bolted to the trans (Yes we made sure to torque the flex plate bolts and double checked them..)
As soon as the trans lines get here, we can drop it in...
Eddie's GTS is in the garage and we are going to start pulling the teen tomorrow....
Then drop in the forty....

Oh yeah, and my crazy day got even crazier after I got home.
It's raining buckets in Memphis and the new roof for my house there was scheduled for install on Saturday but they weren't even sure that would happen.
Suddenly, they called me and said the rain was moving off and they want to do it tomorrow. They needed the go ahead in an hour or I was going to be put further back in line and might miss the June 10 deadline my Insurance company imposed and risk getting cancelled again. There are literally thousands of roofs being replaced down there due to all the Spring storm damage.
I had to drop everything and scramble to get ahold of my tenant and make sure he could be available for it and then get back to them (multiple parties involved) with a definite answer. Half a dozen texts and a few phone calls and I got it all confirmed with 7 minutes to spare.
Then I got a call from my BIL's neighbor saying he wasn't answering their knocks on his door. Crap.
I ran over there and found him sleeping on the floor in the living room. I checked his blood sugar and it was 136. He was just so worn out from the day that he had stretched out in front of the TV and went into a deep sleep.
I got him into bed, fed the cat and locked the place up and came home. I'm finishing the rest of those beers now.
Well got the 3.55 in and the first try the wear pattern was awesome! That never happens at least to me. And the x pipe kit came in fits perfect! Tomorrow nights quest..... Pretty good day/night
Happy Friday everyone! Oh wait is it only Friday for me, this week? Im glad it is, its still been a week from hell around here.
Morning lurkers!
Do you have a pic of the front of the carrier where the yoke goes in not a close up but showing the "pumpkin"
you figure out that tire issue?morning all
not yet, back to thinking it is the pump, tires look fine, pressures are good, alignment will be check this morning.you figure out that tire issue?
OK so I admit to being an occasional lurker.,,, maybe Rani should start a thread on this , as many of us have been there and done it at various times in the past. there will be lots of advice and opinions, all of which will vary according to the part of the country we live in. interesting reading and info for some mebers I figure. I applaude Rani's desire to help young people get into the hobby!I am only thinking about flipping now because I think I finally reached the ropes end. The marginal utility is wearing down and I am not even excited to go hunt anything down anymore. I either have or have had everything I ever wanted and now I am getting to where I hear about more and I am like "MEH" "been there done that"
I would like to turn to getting younger people into it. Those kids who are looking at retail ebay prices and getting blown out of the water. Good deals are still out there but some people just are not seeing them and too many people are getting over with asinine ebay prices, even on CL.
COME RUN MINE FOR ME LOLBack from my run. 400 feet short of 10k ... Good run though.
I could probably do the 400ft and we can say we ran 10K together.Back from my run. 400 feet short of 10k ... Good run though.

What was the standard torsion bar dimension in a '66 V8 Dart in the US? Would that be a question for @Rainy Day Auto?
Yeah, the army after 12 years has destroyed my knees, im working back into shape after a second ACL....There's nothing to it, guys. Buy a pair of shoes and do the 400 feet. Then in three days do them again. Before you know it, you're doing five miles.
got some good news, seeing some sprouts coming out from the hops...Mike 2, I sent you the pics
