Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was an apprentice operating engineer down south in Ontario Ca. running a portable rock plant making material for a flood control project.
I kept hearing this weird noise over the normal sounds the plant made. :wtf: is that noise? I wandered around the plant all day trying to find it. Quitting time comes, I git it all shut down and there's that damn noise again :wtf:. Right then the little light bulb lit up in my head  "It's the end of October, we're in Ontario. That's a Fuel Car at the World Finals at the speedway!" Ontario Motor Speedway was about 4 miles down the freeway from where we were set up.

Did you try Napa? Their 4WD selection is about as vast as anyone’s. You can also try 4wheelparts dot com. They have stores all over but they’ll the only ones I can get body mounts for my w200 from.
No. But the days of NAPA always carrying US made stuff are long over. Also not many NAPA's left around.

I was upstairs at the window of my bedroom yesterday afternoon, when I saw a Large Doe with three little ones. I had previously taken the screen out of that window for such an occasion. My bolt action .222 with nice scope is there leaned against the wall. I almost picked it up for a shot to the head, when I realized I may not have enough time left to get her all dressed out before I head over to the other side of the World.....

Off-road racer Sara Price celebrates breakthrough at Dakar Rally

  • Associated Press

Sara Price slid out of her off-road vehicle at the Dakar Rally, after a rigorous ride through the diabolical dust and dunes in Saudi Arabia, and had to check for certain she made history in the endurance event.
"I don't think an American female's ever won a stage, right," she asked.
Price was right: The 31-year-old Californian this week became the first female American driver and third woman ever to win a Dakar stage.
Not bad for a Dakar rookie.

Morning all hope all is well. We played golf yesterday at the Marine course. A part of it follows the coast along the ocean. With the volcano rocks and mountains the sounds of the huge waves it’s great. A lot it beauty in this side of the island.

went to the doc this morning. Yep, Im sick. They did the triple test for Flu, Covid, RSV. Supposed to have result within 24 hours. Advised to take a least another day off work. Probably going to do that. Even with Dayquil on board, head feels like a big lump. Should be able to get steroids soon they were calling in. Hopefully that opens sinus pretty quick. Ugh. :BangHead:
