Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not much going on here went and ran errands this morning. Best golf buddy called and had an hour to go hit balls at the indoor range so why not. He responded and bought a double pour whiskey when we were done. Came home and went with Cheryl to the grocery and liquor store. We bought several small plastic shots to cover our first day on the ground in Florida next week. I also got a couple bottles of West Bottoms whiskey for the Super Bowl party here next week. My whiskey buddies were all here for the playoff game last weekend and loved the West Bottoms it's a good pour!! Sitting here watching KU beat up on Houston. I had a couple three bottles in the cabinet with a pour each so thought it was a great time to finish them off and make room...enjoy!!!

Well I found out yesterday I am officially sick. I guess it's sinusitis or something. Head is completely clogged up draining into my lungs. Coughing it up. My head feels like it's going to explode any moment. Of course this was all after the party at the police station the day before. But I don't think that really had anything to do with this. So yesterday she said we have a get together with some of our friends at 1:00 p.m. at another different restaurant. I'm like I don't really want to go. But I didn't want to disappoint her so I went. Probably 30 people there. I stayed for about 2 hours, drank four beers. My head was pounding so bad and I was dizzy and I thought I was going to fall down. I called the cab and came back to the house at 3:00 p.m.. went directly to the bed. Slept all afternoon and all night last night mostly. She came home in a cab with her girlfriends, helping her at around 10:00 p.m. yesterday. Yes she was drunk. A day in the life in Vietnam. Lol. Going to go to the local pharmacy and see if I can get some nasal spray, anyhistamine or whatever it's called to clear this up.

Kind of sounds like what I had. Mine started out with the flu though and changed into what you are experiencing. I made a Dr. appt for Monday bit I feel much better today. I think I am getting over it finally.

I am rarely sick. Usually not even once a year. Don't know if I caught something from somebody on the plane or one of these parties, or maybe I contacted covid?. We're going to pick up a COVID test today also to check it out. Needless to say, I will not be partying for a few days, and that's the way I like it. I brought one of those small blood pressure testing machines with me here so I can have one here and one at my house. When I check my blood pressure yesterday it was 170 over 85. That's high as hell for me.

Productive day today in the shop.................

Oil change and tire rotation on the Jeep. Also installed some Can-Am parts I have had sitting around for a while; the rear tire carrier, and front and rear windshields.

Not much happened here, cleaned out branches down where the car took out a tree, took trailer full to nursery and got lazy (and saved time) with excavator unloading. Took pugs to dog park, wife wanted to go for a walk.

Was up at 2:30 this morning and the only productive thing I've done all day is fix a leaky toilet and do the dishes.
