Stop in for a cup of coffee

Kind of off the wall but here's a great 20 min video about rib/ribeye steaks.

Now I'm hungry.
For a big juicy rib eye. I know!

Hey John @Sublime one, lots of talk about the last call in the game last night. It was legit in a couple ways. It was a illegal screen (she wasn't supposed to move), and there was use of hands (elbow). Check out this slow-mo video. It was 3' from the ref. He had to call it.

I saw a bunch of that chatter, I too watched the slo Mo and clearly the referee had to call that. I just did not have any sympathy since that girl ran rough shod over everybody all night. All in all I thought the refs did a good job of no calls and let the players play. It was not as rough as last years LSU version but they played a very physical game. Sadly U Conn has provided SC with some invaluable game tape on defense. They played great on D, if I was SC Coach I would be rolling that film over and over. They did an excellent job on Clark.

Looks like tomorrow is rewire day.
Lord only knows what's hiding under the tape.
I hate wiring but spent the money and bought an American autowire kit.
Stuffed the bulkhead wiring harness and fuse block in the glove compartment and so far it's been working good.
all the under hood relays and stuff are under the dash and not in the engine bay.
Did I mention I hate wiring? :BangHead:

I have a 38 chevy hot rod to rewire, buddy’s 50 dodge to rewire. I dont mind it actually.

These old cars are really simple, I don't mind doing it. especially with the dash out and on the bench.
I'm just amazed at how someone would drive around like that and think it's ok.

I agree Ray, the wiring diagram is a page or two, now theres 40 or 90 pages of wiring…

K.... trans is perfect... not a mark on any part all the way down to the rear pump.... so.. leaves the converter but why only in second gear and how could this even happen? could the input shaft come forward in second or something weird?

True, but if I knew it was that bad I would have addressed it a long time ago.

Now looking back on driving that to Carlisle last year in a downpour was extremely lucky on my end.

Yeah... I cleaned up a lot of sketchy wiring when I replaced the light switch and external gauges. I'd like to put s new harness in, but good grief they're pricey

Hmm..

@lkopaska

Wonder if the kickdown is out of position so only partial pressure?

Lemme check the Motors Manual

kickdown at idle doesn't really do anything though.. i am wondering if it's possible for the inputshaft to come forward somehow and make the converter have a bad day... far fetched but i am stumped

You guys been in here all day? LOL. Home from work. They only did 6 hour shifts today. So I turned the lights out at 5.

Yeah, i gutted it and it was all fine inside.. checked the band adjustment also.. only happens in second and drive.. really weird

Kickdown, Low and Reverse?

Hmm....

Maybe it's the Torque Converter not the transmission itself. Do you have another to check?
