I really hope my governor is my issue.. rebuilt the trans twice and it's the only part that i didn't even look at, cause what are the odds of that being bad

book is well worth the money. I've done one 904 and a 727 for my now gone truck and this would have helped...me spend more money on parts. transmissions did work when I was done though, even without a bunch of fancy stuff. good book to have on the shelf, great reading!yeah i had to look up the area code

Transtar Industries in Madison Heights Michigan is close enough to you for those gaskets. They sell stock rebuild parts as well the performance parts.yeah i had to look up the area code

I need to drive my car before i tear into the trans just to verify but on jackstands it seems to be starting in second when in drive and in 1st when in 1st... governor is the only part i didn't check cause i'm dumb, won't hurt it to test drive first.. getting close to putting the front clip on finally
