Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was in the Ford dealership that bought the one I had worked for, talking to a few of the mechanics that are still there. It seems like every job they do, engines and cradles are being dropped out of the vehicles. I thought one at the other end of the shop had it's bed taken off because that is what used to be done to do a Ranger fuel pump/sending unit. NO! It was the cab lifted off the frame on the hoist! It was a diesel that needed (I'm guessing) head gaskets. The studs are so long ( how long are they? ), the cylinder heads will not come off easily or at all in the vehicle. Maybe it was a gasser, but, holy toledo! Could you see doing that at home? Not end user friendly. Best wishes for a non-bolt breaking adventure.
Techs look for a reason to pull cabs now. When i first saw a cab being pulled in the bay next to me, i asked. It can be done with cab on, but easy to make mistakes and get hurt.
The 2012 super duty i did engine (6.2gas) i didnt even pull hood. But all i read was pull cab first. So there is that.

Had to replace the frame on a 2017 Suburban not to many years ago.

KFC is going Halal.
Thats it for us. And Tim Horton’s sold to some east asian investor group. Another one i wont frequent any more
There are KFC's in the Major Cities in Viet Nam also. But their menus are weird. Sure they have Chicken as normal, but they also have Asian entrees . Like Noodles, Rice, Soup and the like. No KFC's in my smaller city of Vinh Long. But there are similar fast food places. Jolliebee is one that is a Philippino chain. Burgers and Chicken and Asian. It's ok, but I prefer Lotteria, which is a Korean chain. Mostly the same fare, but the food is better there. Their Fried Chicken is off the hook. When I get bored with Vietnamese food, I go there for take out Chicken. I get 6 Chicken breasts for about $5 USD. It's great, and they always have the breasts ready, since Vietnamese people prefer the dark meat. I'll take em home, eat maybe 2 and put the rest in the fridge for later....

What’s not to like with breasts ready, where o where is Karl when we need him?

And...... The Chicken Breasts there are usually larger than the young gal's that is serving them.....

It's been a week for sure even with a "day off" for safety days, lots of "I need this done" came in that day. Tomorrow escorting our RF engineer up to a couple of sites, one is scenic and road turns into a goat trail almost, no snow yet so that's ok

Well I am thankful the gal at Espo Springs is quick on responses, have quote for springs "plus 2", shackles, bushings (rubber) and U bolts, reasonable price for sure, wifey ordering tomorrow, she does the bills so I'm good with that!

Seattle's 'Belltown Hellcat' skips hearing; judge denies motion to vacate judgment

This is a weird story that I'm not following too closely but it keeps continuing. Dude in a Hellcat is driving like a maniac all over Seattle and posting videos on social media, been skipping out on court dates, owes like 83K to the city, just weird. It's kinda like a train wreck, if I see a new development I click on it lol! I guess he was ordered not to drive the Hellcat which is a very recognizeable one but he's doing it anyway.
