Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ya know they make trucks that will deliver that stuff all mixed up already. Ya just have to make rude gestures at the driver to get it in the right spots
I had a friend who specialized in concrete. He died. Charlie. The rest of us are still hanging on.

Not a load I would want to go cross country with but a few miles it's OK.
Right after I got out of AIT, I worked at the local chain home improvement store. Guy comes in with a ford ranger. Ordered 68 bags of Quickcrete. You know, 80 pounds per bag. That’s two pallets… he proceeded to insist that we load it into his ranger. But he wanted the bags left on the pallet, which barely will clear. So he goes somewhere, comes back with a lawn mower single axle trailer, tell him again, too heavy. He cusses and screams, my department manager tried to explain it to him, finally store manager just goes, hey sign this waiver for us to load your trailer and we’ll do it.

Store manager then has me set the first pallet full of quickcrete onto his trailer… pop goes the leaf springs and the axle bends like a twig… guy says load the second. So I did.. pop goes the welds on the tongue of the trailer. Store manager says, there it’s load, now leave…. Ranger couldn’t even budge it. Not sure whatever happened as I clocked out and left that **** show

Nuthin' easy about that craft. I did lots of the making it end of it, stayed away from the putting it down end as much as possible. Unless I was operating the concrete pump placing it 100' from the pump

Made it to the credit union for a password reset. I'll remember to write it down this time. :BangHead: :BangHead:

Fairway has 85/15% ground beef on sale. I'm frying up a pound to check out the taste before buying a 10# tube. It smells good.

You'd never find it again. I can't find my own posts half the time
