The transplant was aborted. Part way into the procedure, the carotid artery in his neck blew out and they went into full emergency mode to save his life. It took 2 hours to get it done.

He is in the ICU now and will stay there for 3-4 days to recover from this. When he wakes up in a few hours they will tell him what happened and that the liver went to another recipient.

Now we wait for him to recover and another liver to become available.

Major bummer Dave. Sorry to hear that. Hope he comes thru it and another suitable liver (obviously not mine) comes available..

Awesome! I also noticed the fuel stain running down the quarter panel from the filler cap. Pumps back then never did auto shut-off very well and no one wanted to wipe it off and risk the fuel getting on their Leisure suit and melting the polyester!

Ha , ha.... I think the stains got there from Girlfriend not wiping off the quarter ??

its just a jolt to hear news that it could be bad. It makes you re-think life and your purpose in life. IMO

ultimately, I am not that scared because I know Mr. Jesus Sir will come pick me up in a HEMI Cuda and go off to a nice place, if it comes to that. Otherwise it will be ok and I will stay to finish my HEMI Coronet, either way it is good.
 
I'm really kinda surprised TMM was the only one that said anything about my breather cover customization.

Oh well, I think it's cool anyway...:D
