it's actually an eerily quiet morning here, all the streets are empty and there is no one around. Usually there are people going for walks up the road and it seems like everyone is either on vacation or sleeping in.

were they all up late drinking and blowing things up - like around here?
 
We have a car show here today in the local park. Plan to head up to that around 10. Then if its not raining might work on the Duster grill install.

not too bad with the fireworks last night - it's tonight when folks go off - I am hoping people observe the ban due to the dry conditions ...and they are illegal in this state...
 
Luckily its not really dry here. We went next door - they had some good ones. They hosed down the entire back yard a couple hours before. I'm sure there will be plenty of individuals shooting stuff off tonight, but many of the communities around here did them last night. And yeh, they are illegal here too.:rofl:

yea - like the legality factor ever stopped anyone... well, maybe after the 3rd time you get busted for the SAME thing... :lol:
 
We used to hold these huge 4th of July Parties here at our place outside, every year. Since we live at the end of the road on a culdesac , we would light off tons of the good stuff right in the culdesac. We would have 60-70 spectators here. That was probably 8 years ago, Gittin old, Too much work. Etc.
 
There are always a tone on this block. Guaranteed the troopers show up. Its just the way it is. None for me this year, but the neughbors always have a show!
