This motorcycle was there also. Thought of you guys since you were talking of bikes the other day. It was Ace motorcycle company manufactured in Philly at the time. That motorcycle broke the record at 106.8 mph on Rosevelt Blvd in Philly before the Blvd was opened to daily traffic. The company was bought by Indian motorcycle about a year or 2 later.

I did figure out why the choke wasn't closing all the wsy. No gasket under the choke coil in the intake. It makes the rod too short. Why didn't they make the rod longer and put a bend in it so it can be adjusted? Adding a thicker carb base gasket could do the same thing. Got to love these old cars.

Looking for a small sheet of header gasket material. Make me a gasket or two for under that choke. I thoight about making a new choke rod if I could find sole round stock. I'll try a gasket first.

I um kind of did more than just attend. I’ve signed up to be an instructor as well. After seeing how much my son loves this stuff, I couldn’t help myself. Local 4H is about to do away with Shooting Sports because they can’t find anyone to instruct it. I can’t let that happen

Good for you Chris. Kids need to learn the safety and be taught how to handle a gun.
