Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Had 69 A12 Super Bee around 1977. Sold it to buy A 60 Corvette , big brake Fulie 4spd car. Paid $2800 for the Vette roller. Still own it 40 yrs later. I'ts the only Non Mopar I have.

I move around way to much as an adult. The only thing I have had for a long time is a 52 triumph Terrier, like a tiger cub but a plunger frame, a prototype I bought from an old board track racer that was sponsored in the day. I have been collecting parts for years and there is only one more part needed and of course it is so rare you cannot find it and no one makes a repop!

Wow, a few of you get up way early or have you been drinking coffee all night? LOL
Morning all. Hope you don't find yourself snowed in. tmm

Back to the grind... On cup 2 at work but still just staring out the window. Guess I should get going and do some work.

i have a spare bedroom, I can't take in a family from New England if you fly out before the storm of ' 15! ( bring lobster!???) ??? LOL weather guy talking 2 ft and gusts to 80! last time we had straight wind here of 70 mph, I watched one end of pole barn come ALL the way out of the ground!!! I put it back next day! LOL

I feel for you guys, but " at least ya guys know how to drive in the snow!" or so i'm told. LOL few years ago we had a 3 incher, then winds blew 40 mph all day, across 500 ac pasture.... when I got home there was drift 5 ft tall between me and home. walked.....

so is this coffee what makes my head tingle????????

Thanks, kool aid gives you calories silly man! Maybe RV&7?

Took a long time to find a place I could go feral at as my wife says.

Mornin all, going to be a nice day here, many many honey do's, need lots of coffee. Need to start digging things out for the swap meet coming up.

Good morning coffee guys. Day off, meeting some friends for seafood lunch at a good/reasonable place and we're all going to see American Sniper. Life in Charleston sure beats Atlanta.

Sounds like fun. What's your favorite seafood?

No coffee but sipping on a Monster energy drink waiting for a customer in White Bear Lake, got a load of cabinets to deliver here :glasses7:

Gonna be a nice day, temp in the 40's and hardly any snow on the ground...pretty odd for central MN this time of year :D

LOL. My wife and I have talked about an acreage. We are both from the farm and miss the open space and quiet. I miss not seeing sunrises and sunsets.

Mike, I am in the bottom of a small valley with trees around it. Sunrise is not so good. By the way had to put the garage beer in the fridge to warm up it froze! 25 in the shop this morning.

My favorite of all is Stone Crab claws but it's hard to find, expensive and if it has been frozen it's not good. Or maybe my favorite is oysters...Florida oysters on the half shell (no sauce, just plain) or fried...or Oysters Rockefeller if they are done right.

I like it all, if it's fresh. Grouper, Scamp, Snook, Snapper. Not crazy about raw clams but I'd eat them if they were put in front of me. I'm lucky to have grown up in Florida...for birthdays all I wanted was a fish dinner and hushpuppies.

How bout y'all, favorites?

Sounds all good to me. I like crab legs the best. Snow crab or Kings. I also like scallops, shrimp and oysters on the half shell. Most fish is good especially my neighbors bluegill and crappie fish fry's in the summer. I am also a salmon and tuna steak fan if done right.

I am a big shrimp fan. I will get a handfull from the store, mix up some cocktail sauce (catsup and horseradish sauce) and eat them while I am putting groceries away. The closest thing to seafood around here other than frozen from the store, is Red Lobster. Here's a couple shots a few years back at St Pete Beach at Crabby Bills.
Wyoming beef is range fed off grass and hay. I'll put up corn fed beef from Iowa any day. I don't blame her, I love beef too. I miss getting some out of the freezer when we lived on the farm. We butchered a beef, a 200# hog or two and 100 chickens every year. A huge garden with lots of canning and freezing kept us in veggies. We had potatoes and onions till Marsh or April. Lots of work but worth it in the long run. tmm
