Ok, got everything together including fire extinguisher and flashlights. If you're so inclined, please say a prayer for my wisdom and safety tomorrow. Should get home before midnight. Thanks!

Awesome, but How are you getting there? AND bringing second vehicle back flying solo?1971 mopar Plymouth fury 3
Going by myself tomorrow, unless somebody else buys it, more than likely I will, provided I don't find any deal-breakers upon inspecting it. The owner feels confident it will make the 5 hr drive home. I'll drive it a bit then shut it down and look for any concerns.
I've gathered some wrenches, rags, a jug of coolant, trans fluid, quart of oil, hose clamps, duct tape, tow rope, a moving blanket in case I have to get under it. My insurance does have roadside assistance if I need a tow.
I'd appreciate any other suggestions for what to bring along....thanks.

Ah ha. That works. I knew you mentioned driving it back. I was just picturing you getting on a bus with rope, duc tape, oil etc. "Excuse me sir, I need you to step out of line."... "No, but really, I'm going to pick up a car!" LOLMy friendly Enterprise car rental has an office in the town, doing a one-way rental, at least I hope I love this Fury and drive it home. It's a 5 hr drive so not too daunting.
