Guys, I just watched the latest Hot Rod Garare episode on Motortrend On Demand. It is awesome! Tony and Lucky are turning that show into total awesomeness!

Pick up some garlic, tumeric, and ginger while you are out to help get you better. They work better than anti boitics...

Also, black pepper helps increase the effectiveness of tumeric...

Hey Karl, Thanks! A place nearby makes home made chicken soup so I got a quart and did as you say except for the ginger which I forgot.
Had a nice drive in the Fury. Scrubbed the whitewalls but the plastic brush I was using snapped in two. They do look better but I don't know how they got so dingy. Mr. Davis drove the Fury, he said to find out how old the plugs and wires are, and also let him put in electronic ignition, which is something I want to do even if it doesn't solve the jerkiness at steady speeds. We are getting used to each other (the Fury and me!)

You know it's funny how a day you feel crappy can be a really great day. Since I just signed a new lease, I had to stop by the administrative office and get new bar code stickers for my cars. You can't just get the sticker and put it on yourself. I was a little apprehensive. The lady who helped me was beautiful and nice. All I did was ask her how she liked working there, and the conversation took off. She was a vocalist for the Navy band but got cancer and they wouldn't let her stay in. (By this time I took the Fury home and brought back my other car.) I asked her what she's doing with her music now, and she let me listen on her phone, while she scraped off the old sticker and adhesive. She has a great voice and when I got to the middle of the first song I realized it was spiritual music that she wrote herself. Really, really good and listenable, and not trying to cram in so much of a message and sounding like someone in pain, which is how a lot of that music seems to me. The musicians backing her up are good. She made a CD. What was best was just having an honest conversation with a stranger, it got very deep and I don't think I'm going to forget it any time soon.

That is what you Tom cats like....so what.

As a woman I don't find it offending at all, as long as it's not me what do I care what a bunch of bimbos want to do to get validation in life and get attention to quench their insecurities by showing their nips. :realcrazy: LOL

Feels good to have a Mopar of my own to mess with in my spare time. I used GoJo to clean the driver's door panel; it works great. I'm not sure what to do about the paint. I had some Mother's Cleaner/Wax on the shelf, just did a small section by hand, removed lots of oxidation and looks good. Then I used some Nu-Finish. The paint seems thirsty for wax. But there are some small spots of surface rust, on the lower part of the front door for example it looks like specks of red clay, but it is rust. What do you do about that?
 
I'm almost afraid to go ZZZ's - VERY concerned about tomorrow morning and what horribleness I might encounter... LOL

Have you considered buffing compound? there are two coarse levels, coarse and fine...

First buff with coarse, then fine, then liquid ebony, clean and wax... It will bring the shine right out... :D

But be careful not to buff too deep into the paint and hit primer.... :BangHead:
