Mitch.

Why not just sling it on the end of an engine hoist?

I've been meaning to ask, did your Fin amazon Tuula get laid off too?
Yep, my entire department was laid off including Tuula. But in an interesting twist, she too has been hired by my new company and sits in the office next to mine. She just doesn't report to me any more. I'm happy they picked her up. She's a very smart and capable person and will do well there.

As for the first day on the job, it was good...but it felt really long. Hard adjusting to a new place and routine, but I'm starting to get into it.

I still need to figure out the commute thing to find the best route and time of day to travel. Around here, 15 mins either way means the difference between a traffic jam and a clear path. The distance is the same as my last gig, just in the opposite direction. 23.5 miles each way.

Congats Dave. That's great news. Hope it turns out better even better than your last gig...

Sun is rising, the whole family has the day off. Coffee mug no 1 is downed, no 2 on its way.

Life is pretty ok, actually.
