how's the family doing?
On our way to HI in 87 we dropped the Aerocoupe in Oakland to be shipped, them flew out, the dam quake hit the next day, we were lucky the car did not get crushed it was in a yard next to a overpass that collapsed. That was close enough for me.
Ron found some thing in time on the pop yesterday, the rear plate on the slapper bars are rubbing on the tires. Have to cut that back.
The northridge quake Destroyed a major interchange, I5 and state 14. Took three years to rebuild. Grapevine pass was closed for three years.
Wow Grapevine pass I remember that well after it was fixed!

I had a set that did that on my first Scamp - couldn't even mount them - IIRC I had to cut off quite a bit to get them on there
It was a good catch just enough of the corner starting to grove the tires.
