Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey... I'll drive from here .....
Hmm, would really like to. still looks like near 2 hours between us. Seriously thinking, but prob not. Like Hops, got MANY things I should be doing here. Getting dark (and colder) too early to get much done after workdays now and running out of warm weekends. :(

Not good... Hopefully you get at least a little grass holding it together before long. Most contractors use quick mix with a lot of rye. Only takes a week in summer, but prob longer not getting much heat.
I'm thinking if it doesn't start next week, I'll be re-seeding in the spring...

Grrr. I got stuck getting my daughter all dressed up for her Halloween party at school, still trying to figure out how to do this pony tail. . 2 hrs later

so essentially, I will be re-seeding in the spring anyway..?
Maybe...ask them what they seeded with. Contractors like to use mixes with a lot of annual rye cause it will start quick and prevents early erosion. But, you need enough other grass in the mix to take over. Perennial rye and Kentucky Bluegrass are common around here. Not much diff weather, probably same will grow there. You'll likely have grass there in spring, but might look pretty thin by summer.

Good morning, I'm caught up now...lots of hunters around here but never see deer meat or jerky for sale, or see it on menus, you have to know someone.

You guys would shake your heads at the absurd stuff going on at work. My coworker got a bad report from a "secret shopper" visit and got suspended for 5 days. We met with the trainer from the rating company, instead of discussing the report, she had us form teams and play "truth or dare." Then she and the GM came in for dinner and I had to serve them painfully following all the standards they want us to do, such as never saying "um" or "ok" and telling interesting stories about everything on the menu while being "discreet," and other ridiculous picky things that normal guests don't care about.

Having a wine test on Beaujolais today, better do well, I wouldn't want to be suspended! Sheesh....

Sounds like you deal with a lot of :bs_flag:but I'm more of a 'normal guest' at Five Guys or Applebee's.:D

The higher-ups get their kicks from intimidating us. The best revenge is not letting them get to you.
