I do know it was an easy 1 person job taking mine out the bottom and install back in. I was re-doing everything though. If you don't need to pull the trans and not working on suspension - might be better to do top pull.

i yanked mine out with my baby sleeping in a play pen, took me less than an hour to get it and the trans out. Air tools speed things up

I had a Model Kit of that Sikorsky when I was a kid.. Had the detachable full length container under it too...Wonder whatever happened to that... Had a bunch of Aviaton Models

i just hate the bottom method for 1 reason........ Torsion bars. I hate removing torsion bars.
 
I do All mine from the top. since I have a lift in the shop...Just the way I like to do it...Usually pull the trans tho if its a done car.

I have ALWAYS gone the same route... hood off, engine out... just kicking around the idea of the "k frame method"....

true true. that was one of the biggest benefits of going to the GTS kit. I hate hate hate removing torsion bars. I either break the tool or nick a bar.
 
Waiting on one of my young proteges to come and help me bolt on the Hood and the Trunk lid for the GTS...
 
Also need to put the D250 on the lift...One of the Fuel Tank hangars broke on Friday...Lucky the Tank didn't fall out...
 
If I had a pool of cash right now, I would. Wasn't a bad car. Behind the rear wheels and spare tire well were the only rust to speak of. Rallye dash and hood.. I bought it for 2500 and sold it for 6000 3 weeks later. He has it listed at 6K..
 
this place has gone full cluster f**k - the TV-internet-phone is out at home - my local hot tub supply place wants to charge me $120 for a $60 part because it's "coming from California"... I'd ask what else can be F-ed up - - but I'd be afraid the answer would come to me... LOL

our internet and phones are down here at work, im on my cell which is having bogging issues.....hmmm
 
Well....I'm makin Progress here !!! Got the Hood and the Trunk Lid installed...AND...Adjusted.. Oh...AND the RPM Performer fits under the hood ..WITH the stock Air Cleaner. Yayyy....The Ram is in the Shop and ready for a look at the Tank Retainers now... After a BEER or Two...
