Well, I've got ice water now, but the way this is going I might need more of the good stuff ... A little while ago they said it might be midnight before they call Florida. Which is a major deciding factor...

Meh, I honestly don't care who wins the Presidency. The power to make laws lies in Congress. Those are the races I am watching and even then...barely.
All Politicians are cut from the same cloth and nothing they say to get elected ever translates into reality. It's just more of the same...even from those that claim to be 'fresh blood' here to create real change. Truth is that they can't...and won't. As soon as they are elected, they become just one more of the bunch with only a slightly different sound.
We've all seen this noise before and in reality...nothing ever really changes.
The entire system is designed to ensure that it won't. The Founding Fathers were wise men and created a system to prevent the ability for wild swings to occur and moderate everything so that change happens s-l-o-w-l-y. They well knew the whims of madmen rulers in Europe's history and created a system to assure it wouldn't happen here.
Checks and balances designed to corral madmen and ensure thoughtful progress toward change without running roughshod over anyone.
America, the only place I would ever want to live...

We row the boat of true progress down the river of madness with the masses of self-centered humanity making waves as we pass.
The roil increases as they see the opportunity to simply make waves and disrupt the progress of future just because they can and feel entitled to do so.
They know not the repercussions of their agitation, they just do it because they feel they should, if only to soothe their madness.
They cried "Make our country great again and expel the external evil".
When they felt the backlash of the disaster they created upon the waters, they cried for help...and to their dismay, there was none.
They lashed out in madness and in the end reaped the reward of insanity pretending to be savior.
It's what happened when Hitler took over Germany in 1934...and destroyed them all.
