Around here I find cars with chains around the motor mounts or a chain from the K frame to engine. those torque straps are too fancy for the Colorado back woods
 
Never used one before, just seems to hook up faster, came with the kit just never got around to it and was just sick of looking at it.

That's all preference of what your more comfortable with. Got to figure out the cfm and see what there is available also. I had a 327 out of a vete that had factory duel wcfb,s think they were around 350 cfm each.
 
Linkage can be a pain on the holleys, you just have to do some research.

i was thinking dual 500s..... because I can usually find those cheap

you see where Mike Pence trolled the Hillary Campaign on twitter about 8pm last night, asking if they could buy the unused fireworks for a discount
 
If I remember right there is a formula I think two 500 act like two 350's, have to look it up. Does the intake have provisions for a cross shaft for the linkage?
