Stop in for a cup of coffee

I've been noticing a lack of recent pics/videos too... @MOPARMITCH :poke: hummm......
Just too busy to get it done... I actually had to buy an external storage device a few weeks ago, because my laptop storage would take no more. It'll take me Months to Edit/Splice all the stuff I took on the Gopro.

wow - Ocean City - - I remember being there when I was 9 or 10 or so... I was standing on the beach watching the roller coaster maintenance guy oiling the tracks - he was hanging out of the front car as it was going around the ride... well, when it came full circle, the damned thing slammed into the other set of cars that were sitting at the gate/loading area - he saw it coming and sat up before he got smashed between them - but the dude went FLYING - fell down into the supports.. got he *** KICKED - very weird thing to see at that age...

Yep, I'm 54 this year and I can hardly believe it. My daughter turns 13 this year and it seems like just yesterday that I was bouncing her on my knee. She's going to be in College in just 5 more years. I feel like just as I am getting to know her...she will be off on her own.

The 50s are a strange time in life. Wanting to be 25 again and wanting to retire...all at the same time.
When I tell these people/girls here, that I am 59, they don't believe me.. They say Khong, Khong, No, you 45...

Time for SSS...then Breakfast... I've had NO Western food in 3 1/2 weeks....Ok ...maybe 2 S's...

Hey I found a cheap idea for my flares lol

ok I would like to know how he does this with them lil tires? I'm sure there is a logical explanation.

Those are low pressure drag slicks on the back. You can see the twist in the sidewall. On a 3000 lb car, the rear tires don't need to be all that wide when they are 12 lb slicks. Just like a rail dragster, the tires get narrower as rpm increases...

Here you go, in slow motion...watch what happens

Yeah Dave I understand that concept. That dusters tires didn't start out wide and get narrow. I guessing an 8ish inch drag slick. It has just enough toque to lift but enough traction not to spin.

Actually, I bet they were quite a bit wider when standing still. The problem with a still photo like that is that it doesn't tell the whole tale. You can see that the tires are wider at the top (shorter side wall) than they are at the bottom. The wheel is winding up and the tread is getting narrower.

That track is also very well prepped with lots of VHT rubber down to help with traction.
