Stop in for a cup of coffee

I thing those can be saved with some selective contour hammering with body putty and shaped back to normal. The distortion isn't terrible and can be corrected. I would repaint to the upper lip of the wheel well lip (top of the distortion) and feather the edge with wet sanding. The contours will hide the paint blend.
I did buy some body hammers. I was going to tackle this last winter, but got scared. The body putty is for ???

Problem I found with those while researching them is the squared off wheel lip. Those move in a circular motion and do not work on the rear wheel wells of the darts
It's really in how you use them, the radius must be continually adjusted when doing a flat top like the A-body and work slowly with small rolling pressure at a time.

You can also use a tool like this...

You will need to fill in the low spots and remake a smooth surface. The putty is to fill it and give you something to shape with a sanding block.

Oh similar to bondo. Gotcha now! So as for sanding down to bare metal, if I follow you your talking just that lip area where the damage is and no further. Then feather/blend the paint into that body line, clear up to that line and then wet sand?

Pretty much, that's it. The contour will hide any paint color differential if you don't go past the upper ridge.

Wow...I was just informed that I have been issued 1,000,000 share options at $0.057 for one of the companies I consult for. They are publically traded on a well known and respected foreign exchange. If the work I do for them raises the share price a penny, I get $10k...raise it by 10 cents and it's $100k..if it goes up by a dollar, it's a million bucks! After that, any price raise just gets stupid crazy.

It all vests over the next 2 years in 1/3 intervals with my ability to cash it in at my discretion once it vests.

Just Nucking Futs!

I'm stunned!

(although it may never be worth much of anything...it might just be worth a mint!) :thankyou:

Nice to see someone decent having their hard work pay off. Being laid off from your last job might turn out to be one of the best things.
