You got my snow! We might have got a few inches. But with temp starting so high and sun out most of the day I can still see the grass in my yard. I still have not used my snow blower this winter.

tell ya what - the skiers must be celebrating - all powder. Once again though, the further north and west you go, the less we got - at work it was easily 12" (an hour south) - here it's closer 9" - out towards Boston and the Cape they are saying 20 or so!

We only got around 5" here but the first 2" was heavy sleet that froze solid into an inch thick ice layer under the snow. I went out through the garage to start clearing the driveway and took 2 steps before I went down in a slow-motion split and had to crawl back into the garage on my hands and knees.
I had to put my ice cleats on to go back out and it took me nearly 3-1/2 hrs to clear off the driveway. I must have put down about 20 lbs of salt.
I'm so glad I bought these things years ago from Cabela's

on the plus side - I am getting pretty good at plowing without brakes.. 
anyone else do their own taxes with turbo tax or h and r block?

I guess the plow itself is sort of a brake. Drop it and it drags you to a stop. Either that or slam the tranny in the opposite gear and throttle it to stop your progress front or back.on the plus side - I am getting pretty good at plowing without brakes..

I use Turbo Tax and have for years. I like it.
i have too, since 2009, but i just finished mine on Turbo tax, havent submitted yet, i decided to play with H&R block and with the exact same information, i've checked it 4 times, I had 2 co-workers check it and my boss, the exact same numbers, H&R block, I'm getting several hundred dollars more back..... than Turbo Tax.
Chris get a local accountant that knows Guard issues, trust me.

Definitely sell that to some one from out of state when the time comes!
i will, i will say this, H & R block goes into very detailed questions about the Reserve travel thing, Turbo tax doesnt
