Stop in for a cup of coffee

@Ddaddy -- any more word about your pops?
I called his Alzheimer's care facility and the Hospital. He apparently fell and they found him on the ground unconscious. He was transported to the ER and they are evaluating him. They couldn't tell me if he had become conscious again or not and he is sleeping now while they schedule the MRI of his head and fully evaluate him otherwise. No other information yet. The ER didn't seemed to be overly worried but the care facility was clearly nervous about giving me information. CYA mode.

Yikes head injuries are bad. I hope everything is ok

well of course they are going react seriously when they find someone on the floor like that - you seem to pretty cool and collected - hopefully the MRI shows all is well

Watching one of the movies that was a favorite of mine when I was little with my daughter and having her love it= priceless

When stuff like this goes down, I go into command mode and park my emotions. I've always been like that.

Since the ER isn't showing overt signs of concern, I'm going to take that assessment over the words of the facility that is in CYA mode. Time will tell where it goes and there is nothing more I can do except monitor and maintain perspective. The Hospital is one of the best and they know what they are doing. I will elevate my level of concern when I perceive that they are.
