Stop in for a cup of coffee

Nice! I've got a 16 by 14 shed I'm trying to figure out how to move 3 miles away to the property I bought

this one is quite a bit smaller, only 8 by 8
so, stopped by lowes, and bought 8 good sized handles
then ima stop by the gym and pick up 4 guys with muscles so big they cant reach around to put their wallet in their back pocket, screw two handles on each corner and tell them to lift while i back the trailer up underneath the shed

now, your shed is twice as big, so id imagine all you need is 16 handles and about 8 guys
and maybe a larger trailer then mine

I was thinking a tractor lol

so cnn says "1 dead in london" BBC says "Multiple casualties, at least 2 dead"

i had a lot of different ideas
flatbed tow truck was one
buddy who works for a lumber company borrowing the skytrak was another
but NONE of it worked out, so i went with plan E or F or whatever im at now

yeah, I'm thinking I'm just gonna set it on 2 logs and drag it with 2 tractors, do it mid day out here and there wont be much traffic its the 3 steep hills that will suck

mmh, one of my church brothers is a CW4, whatever that might mean, and on the wall where we got the pictures of all our veterans and active duty military personal hes standing in front of something that looks like that, only in black

I moved my 8x10 metal shed a few years ago - got a big ol' eye bolt and put it dead center in the middle of the front base beam, emptied the shed of everything (including the floor) and used the plow lift with a chain on my pickup to raise it enough to put 1/2" plywood under it - - put the truck in reverse and it was on... yea, I was only going about 40' or so, but it worked like a charm

CW4, Chief Warrant Officer 4, usually seen in or around aviation units. Basically, he's a 4 out a 5 in terms of rank for the particular path he's on.

I think diy is ignoring me - he knows I am lying in wait for him

im not ignoring you at all, as a matter of fact, ever since you mentioned your "watching me" ive quit wearing pants around the house, just to keep things interesting

but i do like the idea of using the plow attachment , if i could only figure out how to raise it AND get the trailer under there, id be in business

how about an engine hoist off the back of a pickup? that might raise it up enough
two engine hoist!

one on each side
the issue im seeing isnt height, its angle
unless i would find a way to stud it, the truck with the plow (or pickup with the engine hoist) would be blocking the way of the trailer

I also once used a two wheel car dolly to move a motorcycle - rigged up some plywood and 2x4's -- do you have access to a car dolly?

i dont see car dollies working...not on this surface

and the reason im moving it, i could care less about the shed if these two hadnt build it

i think there is a best hardware the next village over

im pretty set on at least trying to muscle it out (just waiting on my buddy to call be, let me know they are ready to head over)

i did come through with a chainsaw yesterday and cleared a path to the driveway (you can see it in the first pic, its about 12 feet in)
