so I can sit at home, in my jammers, drinking beer (or whatever), save gas and time - click a couple times and my new stuff will show up at my door in a couple of days... umm, yea - where do I sign up!?

ouch... so I was adding up the cost of full AMD replacement panels. just for the trunk and floor would set me back close to 2 grand...... Screw that, nobody will see it, 100 dollar 4x10 sheet of 20 gauge steel.

lot of work if you want to form it anywhere close. I patched in most of mine. Front floors were gone though, so bought the formed pans from year one. Also, as you said, don't see it... So why would you want buy the most expensive ones available?

good point.

I don't get why people pay for a whole floor pan section instead of just cutting out the rusty part and welding in a patch.

Just depends how much needs patched and if you care what t looks like. My front floor was gon, so much easier to drop the stamped pans in...

well, maybe it's time to start spending some $$ on the thing!
Oh I am, slowly but surely and smartly. I don't spend a dime without researching each option like it's my grad thesis

or if it's on a 440 - then it's all steam ahead - throw caution to the wind :poke::lol:
No the 440 was not my screw up. That was the unforeseen act of the son taking over for the dad who owned and ran the shop before having health issues. The son screwed it up and daddy protected baby boy. I researched engine shops for 14 months, spoke to guys who'd had work done there for years with nothing but good things to say. That is until baby boy took over

@ScampMike hoagie time
