No the 69.
oh heck - the "new" car!? does it look like this?

Yes the bolt at the far right in pic. it looks threaded into the frame. Right?

I have to admit, it's been eons since I have messed with one, and I didn't get near the Scamp after we got home ... any chance the bolts are all just loose?
That bolt on mine is moving in that hole, not threaded. Im thinking I will need a new frame.

This is a '69 assembly. You can see all of the mounting bolts in this pic. The bolt on the short arm is part of the arm and shouldn't let the frame move up and down if it is tight. The part on the long arm is a non-threaded slider similar to a door hinge in your house. There is also an attachment at the top of the long arm up by the glass that also shouldn't allow movement if tight.

Thanks. So the threads are on the door bracket. Not good.

no doubt! getting in there with the glass still in is a real PITA - and taking the glass out isn't exactly fun either.. - do you want me to check to see what I have?
Could you? Thanks. Will have to take door apart, O fun!

well - it be Z time - I took an OT shift for tomorrow - - yea, I am working... yay - Tim, maybe some hardware is the same?? I will still check the doors I have and see what I have --- maybe a bracket..

The "Bracket" is part of the door it self. Welded to it! I THINK it is threaded, not sure.
