The whole frame, wing frame moves up and down. Has adjuster at bottom that is moving. Something is stripped, either the "bolt" or the door bracket itself, welded to the door.
I have to admit, it's been eons since I have messed with one, and I didn't get near the Scamp after we got home ... any chance the bolts are all just loose?Yes the bolt at the far right in pic. it looks threaded into the frame. Right?
That bolt on mine is moving in that hole, not threaded. Im thinking I will need a new frame.I have to admit, it's been eons since I have messed with one, and I didn't get near the Scamp after we got home ... any chance the bolts are all just loose?
I am very sure I have one - drivers side right? That bolt on mine is moving in that hole, not threaded. Im thinking I will need a new frame.
oh - they are different 69 to 70?This is a '69 assembly. You can see all of the mounting bolts in this pic. The bolt on the short arm is part of the arm and shouldn't let the frame move up and down if it is tight. The part on the long arm is a non-threaded slider similar to a door hinge in your house. There is also an attachment at the top of the long arm up by the glass that also shouldn't allow movement if tight.
