Happy Sunday morning, everyone. Stepsister (daughter of my Dad's 3rd wife, and they were very fond of each other) sent me this, kinda spooky as this was my Dad's rather unusual first name .
Ugh, I am looking at pics of one like yours. While very close, there are in fact several minor differences. I need to look at Legendary and see if they have both types, or do something close that works for both. That looks completely different! Pivot point is way higher on yours. Base may still be the same, but I'd bet the lower section of the seatbacks is gonna be significantly different
Nope, they have both. This may complicate things a lot.Ugh, I am looking at pics of one like yours. While very close, there are in fact several minor differences. I need to look at Legendary and see if they have both types, or do something close that works for both.
Yeh that would do it...Where's Hoppy this morning? He and I were gettin' hammered pretty good til late last nite so maybe he's not up yet.
Well lookey there what the cat dragged in...It is your fault I just got up!!!!! Morning guys?
Home DespotYeh that would do it...
Thought he was using Rustoleum from Homely Depot?
I'll return to the scene of the crime here in a little bit, to get the new seals into my steering box so I can get that painted up and back on the car along with the new idler arm and the rest of the front end, so we can roll the Monte out when we roll your reduster in for paint.Well lookey there what the cat dragged in...
That frame looks great. That is one downside to restoring the Mopar A bodies not being a separate frame means lots of hidden, inaccessible rust. All the places in between where they spot welded. I am planning to get a couple cans of Eastwood's internal frame coating that will get inside the railsI'll return to the scene of the crime here in a little bit, to get the new seals into my steering box so I can get that painted up and back on the car along with the new idler arm and the rest of the front end, so we can roll the Monte out when we roll your reduster in for paint.
I might take a ride up to Surplus City. Runnin low on sandpaper (240 PSA roll) Might have enough, but looking for reasons to do as little as possible today. LOLLol I think a beer run is in order!
On a Sunday?!?!? Can you do that in PA?!Lol I think a beer run is in order!
I am a big fan of the Loctite Extend rust neutralizer and have recently won Ray over to it too. The spray's great for getting into unreachable crooks and nannies, and they make a liquid form that goes on a lot like Turtle Wax. We were using that on the Sun machine last night with good results. That frame looks great. I don't know whether Surplus City is open on Sundays though.I might take a ride up to Surplus City. Runnin low on sandpaper (240 PSA roll) Might have enough, but looking for reasons to do as little as possible today. LOL
My neighbor just used this on a frame similar to yours and I was impressed with the results. You stick the 2ft tube nozzle in and draw it out as you spray. interweb says 10-5I don't know whether Surplus City is open on Sundays though.
imagine if they sold beer, @halifaxhops would probably have a tent at the back of the parking lot.I don't know whether Surplus City is open on Sundays though.
I wouldn't say it's unreasonable, to be honest, my reaction was that it was the kind of price I'd expect over here.Good morning, I would have to look back at the photo but If I remember correctly It looked "very" nice. Near perfect. I don't think that price is too far out of line for a car of that condition.
Where did that post come from? Here's the seat hinge on mine..
