Stop in for a cup of coffee

Happy Sunday morning, everyone. Stepsister (daughter of my Dad's 3rd wife, and they were very fond of each other) sent me this, kinda spooky as this was my Dad's rather unusual first name .

That looks completely different! Pivot point is way higher on yours. Base may still be the same, but I'd bet the lower section of the seatbacks is gonna be significantly different
Ugh, I am looking at pics of one like yours. While very close, there are in fact several minor differences. I need to look at Legendary and see if they have both types, or do something close that works for both.

Well i got my estimate from one logger to cut me a drive way and a spot for the house/garage, even though the woods haven't been touched in over 100 years by loggers, it's mostly beech with a few scattered oak here and there. It came back to a total estimate of roughly 1000 bucks total........ screw that. I'll cut what I want down myself and stock for fire wood. Which goes for roughly 50 bucks a Rick .

Nope, they have both. This may complicate things a lot. :BangHead:

Where's Hoppy this morning? He and I were gettin' into the hammered paint pretty good til late last nite so maybe he's not up yet. I found some info on the blue paint for his Sun 820 engine tester. This thread says the hammered blue for the Sun 820 “is no longer available, BUT there is a suitable substitute that is almost a match with the OEM product - Sherwin-Williams Dimenso Dark Blue Enamel and its product code is 522-2302. Although it says Dark Blue, it is the actual blue shade of the 1960's vintage machines. This is hammered paint, so there is no additive to give it that hammered look. Just follow the spec sheet with regard to mixing and thinning…”. Ha - Doctor Dimenso. I found this link to the technical info on it, with a picture. Sherwin-Williams - Dimenso One-Coat Enamel. I haven’t found it online but I found this Hammerite dark blue - Hammerite Rust Cap 43125 1 Qt Dark Blue Hammered Finish Rust Cap Enamel Paint | Overstock.com Shopping - The Best Deals on Decorative Paint. I'd also told Ray it looked a lot like '64 Chevelle Laguna Blue but I found that color today and it's actually called Lagoon Aqua. Pretty close to the same color though - not quite but pretty close.

I did it is just a bit off, did not know about the Sherman Williams, hmm there is a Sherman Williams store in the burg.

It is just to silver, would be better with the other, no biggie it is pretty much apart.

Well lookey there what the cat dragged in...
I'll return to the scene of the crime here in a little bit, to get the new seals into my steering box so I can get that painted up and back on the car along with the new idler arm and the rest of the front end, so we can roll the Monte out when we roll your reduster in for paint.

That frame looks great. That is one downside to restoring the Mopar A bodies not being a separate frame means lots of hidden, inaccessible rust. All the places in between where they spot welded. I am planning to get a couple cans of Eastwood's internal frame coating that will get inside the rails

I am a big fan of the Loctite Extend rust neutralizer and have recently won Ray over to it too. The spray's great for getting into unreachable crooks and nannies, and they make a liquid form that goes on a lot like Turtle Wax. We were using that on the Sun machine last night with good results.

I might take a ride up to Surplus City. Runnin low on sandpaper (240 PSA roll) Might have enough, but looking for reasons to do as little as possible today. LOL
I don't know whether Surplus City is open on Sundays though.

My neighbor just used this on a frame similar to yours and I was impressed with the results. You stick the 2ft tube nozzle in and draw it out as you spray. One step and done.

Good morning, I would have to look back at the photo but If I remember correctly It looked "very" nice. Near perfect. I don't think that price is too far out of line for a car of that condition.
I wouldn't say it's unreasonable, to be honest, my reaction was that it was the kind of price I'd expect over here.
