In a nutshell, they screwed the paperwork up completely. Because of this, I now have to go to a civilian doctor on my own time, get diagnosed and then appeal to the state level medical board, sign over every medical file in my entire life to them so they can decide the validities of my injury and whether or not it's duty related. Despite sworn statements under oath from everyone there.oh yea, you did say you're thinking about walking... so WTH?
Let me know how it works. I would love to get one for our patio. It's pretty protected and may work well. The wife went out today and bought the propane fire pit we were looking at for the new deck. It should be pretty nice on cool/chilly evenings...

Until all that is done, they won't agree it's a service related injury.
But I'm so pissed, I'm about to go directly to the Commander and by that I mean the battalion commander, and raise hell. Doing so side steps the chain of command and is career suicide. So if I go that process, I'll probably just request a transfer to the Inactive Reserves for the remainder of my contract.
I............Evening dudes.
Just playing with some hand tools here.
do you typically just play with your tools?Evening dudes.
Just playing with some hand tools here.
I got the backing of key individuals so it won't be too bad. I've already told them my *** ain't doing squat the remainder of this time. I'm done risking my future health to these *** clownsholy jacked up BS.. you need at least a night to simmer down some - - but I sure enough hear ya

some of the guys I used to work with would say "if you shake it more than 3 times, you're playin' with it" - to which I always replied "it's mine, if I want to play with it, I will"... they stopped throwing that one at me pretty quickly...Absolutely

so it's the original multi-tool!!If you use it to make a living it's a work tool. If it's pleasure play, tool.
Uh wait a sec. I did both, may have to rethink that.
You're getting the run around...
Don't worry about going straight to the top, you need to get to a doctor asap and get treatment. Let them sort the paperwork out later. Sometimes it's better to skip a few levels to get action.
Our supplier quality guy once had a part that was defective and called the quality rep at the supplier who told him that he was too busy to take any action. Our guy's next phone call was to the plant manager of that company telling him that the quality guy was not 'cooperating' with him (skipping his supervisor and manager). The quality guy called our supplier quality guy back within a half hour asking what he can do for him... Supplier quality is part of the purchasing department who decides who gets the new business - you don't want to piss them off or you won't get any more business from them... The plant manager was smart enough to recognize that and lit a fire under his quality guy... Problem solved...
Here's a song to cheer you up:
