He digs in the landing gear and high centers the truck on the railroad tracks. Bad situation... but wait..... train comes by at 5:00 everyday. I call the railroad emergency number and explain it. Did you ever have one of those days where absolutely everything pisses you off? I've been having one of those all day.

Seriously, I feel like I could bite a brick in half. 5 beers and it hasn't made a dent...I just want to fukin' bash the sh*t out of all the idiots that I've encountered today.

The worst part is that it isn't any one thing that I can point at, it's all of it put together...all day long and into the evening. Everyone I've dealt with today dipped themselves in the industrial vat of stupid dumb fuk.

Well I can be direct and abrasive at times and I usually ask someone "Are you playing stupid"Loaded question for them to answer. I have ended up in HR office, but it usually cuts down on the dumb stuff lol

Yeah, only some of it was at work and none were people who work for us...all clients and partners.

The rest were random idiots on the roads, in stores, and then at home with my deck builders. After that it was my sister, my Dad's care facility and then the new place we are moving him to and then his primary care Doc that didn't deliver documents on time causing a week delay in the move for Dad. Follow that with the company doing the windows and wood repair on my house in Memphis that still hasn't finished...5 weeks later. Top it off with the ebay seller that hasn't delivered what I ordered 2 weeks ago.

I'm gonna bite someone if one more fuk'd up thing happens today...

The fuk'rs didn't show up today when the rest of the lumber was delivered so it's a mess in the yard. Plus they didn't do any work either...even though they told me yesterday that they were going to be here today at 2 pm and work into the evening.

They were just hiding from the heat today and are giving me a BS run around as to why they weren't here. The fuk'rs didn't even bother to communicate their change in plans and started tap dancing when I called them. I've know this guy running the build for 5 years and now he's getting stupid on me?

I made it very clear that he is not going to get another dime until it's all done. I gave him a deposit that covered materials and it's all here now and the framing is 70% done. I told him if he decided to get squirrelly and try to come take materials from the yard I'd have him arrested...if he survived being shot.

Just kidding...maybe.

Typical contractor. Try dealing with pool contractors! They dig a big hole in your yard, get some money and disappear .
 
Bittersweet

I got rid of a one dart, a 72 and two dusters one 75 and one 72

The 75 duster is headed to scrap after the fold down rear seat set up is removed.

The 72 dart was paid for but he is coming Friday or day after Friday for it.

This is hard to do but it feels right so the beat goes on

The 72 duster went to a good home, the buyer is a 19 year old kid and he and his girlfriend came and trailered it away.

Three down, undisclosed number to go.

I had a guy come look at the valiant wagon and told him, all the parts I have which is a lot, the four speed and no engine , good title included.....I need 1500. For it and he acted like I nuts so forget it, I will just keep it

Sometimes it's best to just go to bed and calm down and maybe be a little more rational tomorrow...
 
maybe I am nuts but I didn't think so when I rationalized it.

a valiant wagon with

woodgrain steering wheel, bucket seats and tracks, a four speed transmission (not installed) extra hood, extra set of doors, extra set of fenders (one of the spares is rough) extra set of floor pans cut out of another wagon with seat belt set up. extra tail gate. the floors are decent needing a small patch here and there, the 1/4s need work, frame rails all solid. good title, extra set of wheels, pair of NOS tail lights

only thing I am holding is the engine which is a six, I am saving that for another car.

I didn't think 15 bills was out of this world but the one guy sure acted like it, I have another guy coming tho.
