I have been waiting the day for the freight company to come and pick up my tool return. That's ok, I have time. Getting lots of other little chores done.

i maybe interested in buying a couple tools if you have any you can't return for whatever reason
I do have some things left over. I am going to load them into some totes in the next few days and cruise around my old route. I might put some on here later in the season for sale. What are you looking for?

I know a Mac guy near me, would it be worth it for him to try to pick some of that up??? Are you getting less for the return than you paid for it, or does Mac give you full credit???

Full credit and then some on some items. The stuff I bought on sale I get full credit on.

I'll have to see. I just got done with a 2 week inventory of what I am sending back. I might not want to count for another week. LOL I will sell it eventually but I'm in no hurry right now. It might be a good winter time project.

no sure - but I'm thinking they are nuts

"A cut above the competition..."

"Ship with Testes, it's a ball...."

"No other shipper has the balls to go where we do..."

"Two Men and a Truck...."

The driver was a real dick....

"It won't come quicker than Testes..."

I asked him if he would be willing to tackle replacing the a/c evaporator, and converting to r134, he said he wanted to do some research. I would consider changing to a modern style compressor too.
Was considering converting the Duster, but now leaning toward just charging it with 12. When I did the engine, I kept everything hooked up, but I know at one point the connection at the firewall turned a little. Apparently enough to let some refrigerant out. I tightened that up pretty quick, but it does not cool now and it did when I got it. I was doing some cleanup under the hood today and checked all the fittings. Only a couple tightened even slightly. I then took a cap off and pushed a valve and it still gives a little hiss. So, the system is still under pressure and should not have drawn in any moisture etc. I see the cans for sale on ebag. Not cheap, but if I can just put a can in, it's a whole lot cheaper than converting.

That is good Keith you don't have to do anything major. I got one season of cold a/c before the evaporator decided to leak. Mr Davis said he is still looking into fixing it for me.

Maybe look at replacing the o-rings in the A/C lines...

If you are going to convert to R-134 A, you need the green HNBR o-rings that are PAG oil compatible... They use PAG oil in the R-134 A systems to lubricate the compressor, so you have to make sure that all of your o-rings and foam seals are PAG oil resistant or they will disintegrate....

You should be able to use R-134 A in a R-12 system if you update the o-rings and suck it dry and use PAG oil for the compressor, the R-134 A will not run as cool as the R-12... Maybe update the receiver drier...

I guess it wouldn't hurt to just do what you say and see how it works. If it isn't good then invest in the other stuff.
