Stop in for a cup of coffee

SOB, I just got an email on that 401K rollover into a personal roth. I have to have permission from my previous employer to do so and the dude thats in charge of it(plan administrator) is on vacation for the next 2 weeks. Kicker is, I filed this paper work 2 weeks ago, I have until tomorrow before they force withdraw my funds and mail me a check :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

:wtf:

ever heard of "spiking"? a state police practice that ups their retirement amount.. simply put, they work mega OT during their last three years of service which increase their salary and then their retirement $$ is based on those last three years..
yep, officers do that all the time here. and then they'll retire from the city PD and get on with the Sheriff or State police, which gives them a credit for the years of LE with the other department and work 3 years, then retire from the State/Sheriff and collect TWO pensions.

yeah, I thought I had this all solved. they've kicked it back twice now....... first they said I had to have a notarized letter from my spouse to do it and now a notarized letter from the plan administrator. Neither of which is listed in the instructions they mailed me.

Sounds like you're getting the runaround....

wanna hear the real kicker though? the form is 15 pages, not counting the letter, I have to pay 1.50 per page to fax them **** because its out of state.....each time. It's gonna cost me 45 bucks plus just to get them to roll it over, which is another 75 dollar fee. What a rip off

im not even sure how to respond to this
Working the system. Our past governor gets two pensions. He was in office, got voted out, and got voted in again. Now he is the Nations representative to China. Another pension again.

and people wonder why the general public hates politicians. Yet we continue to allow them to rape us.

it's one of the abuses of the system that frosts my ***.. mostly because it allowed - not some dickhead trying to circumvent the system

yep. That's why I'm hoping indiana passes the proposed state constitutional amendment next session, its got support of 78% of the public. The amendment requires the state to have a balanced budget and forbids a deficit. The bill attached to it, limits state funded pensions to 1 per person per life time.

we need to start giving politicians a yearly "performance review"... If the 50% of the voters don't approve of their performance, then we boot them out and their opponent gets his chance.... If the opponent fails, then hold another election...

Then any of them that has anything to do with the budget, force them to make a balanced budget... Any short-comings come out of their pay every year... Then you'll see how fast they can get their **** together....

Get rid of the "good ol boys" health insurance for the congressman and put them on our "regular" health insurance and they will fix the health insurance...

If it doesn't affect them personally, they don't give a f*ck.... Well, we need to MAKE THEM GIVE A F*CK....

Interesting we are talking about this this morning. My wife just left for the State House. She is on the State Police and Fire Pension board. I need to talk about this with her tonight. That double dipping needs to stop.

Ok, to cheer us up, a nice song from Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys that we can relate to:

Sheeple let's all this happen. We are out numbered

Yep, they did. Honestly, Im hoping Illinois goes belly up, stops paying welfare and then they completely collapse. Maybe, just maybe people will wake up to this crap

On a brighter note..................................how's the weather where you are. Everybody getting car projects done?

weather here is great!! but no car stuff recently. I got the brakes sorted out and am taking a break. We just changed the date for the roof replacement on the house so I have to get my **** together NOW so I will be ready by the end of July - garage MUST be at least 50% cleared out and all stored in one of the trailers - this includes the car, the bike and a bunch of other pieces and parts I don't want covered in crap...
