Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, it is a bitt sharp so add some sort of honey or maple syrup in to smooth it out.

Buttoned up the front of the engine, just need some new belts, planning on putting the fender on today. I need to tweek the frame on the pass side it is bent just a hair, prob tapped something. Good to have a tractor.

Say What?

Where the front bumper mounts the part that goes in front of the k member is out about 1/4 inch, of course Ron saw it sitting down having a beer watching me work! Can prob hit it a few times but I have the tractor! LOL

I have that little body piece that goes behind the bumper. Max had it. He has the same kind of toys and he is always tearing things apart in my yard because he has a wife.LOL I lose tools and parts all the time. I can give it to you when we do the title.

Thanks, not to worried about it just want to get it running before the first snow. Ron has a plow that might go on it.

Time to get some things done.

Yep. me too. Coffee's about gone, time for a shower and hop in the car to see my ailing father-in-law. Too hot for outside activities today. 7 hour road trip sounds fun. I like to drive and Kenny needs some support. Damn cancer!

so I have a dilemma now ......do I put a FABO decal or a FBBO decal on my coronet.

some might say it should be a FBBO sticker since it is a B-body.....but then some might say FABO sticker since the build thread is here and I rarely go to FBBO and I don't post much there because FABO is the better place IMO.

Why not put them both on??? #-o

First cup half down. yum! I mixed a little hazelnut in. Tastes good. We are planning to drive across the state to visit my father in law today. He is in the hospital battling lymphoma.

Sorry to hear that, I lost my dad to Lymphoma. Hopefully he can beat it...

If I ever find a roof rack I can put the JATO bottles up there!

I saw someone around here that made a homemade roof rack out of plumbers pipe. Not bad, basic and simple...

I'll have to look for some pictures to post for you. It may give you some ideas....

I'm up! Battling a chest cold or something so took an overdose of NyQuil and Ibeprophen and I slept in! Good Morning who ever is left

Go to the store and get some fresh garlic cloves. chop them up real find and put 2 oz of garlic into a can of chicken noodle soup and eat it. By the time that you finish the bowl, you will start feeling better. I find it helps to do that 3 times a day when I get a bad cold, it really helps.

also make some tea with fresh lemon, honey, and get some fresh ginger and put some in the water when you boil it in the microwave. It will help you feel better and soothe your throat...

Hope you feel better soon....

I met the new female FABO member from here last night at the local cruise. She's very cool and has a sweet 71 Dart, 318, 904, 8 3/4" axle, P/S, P/B, A/C...

Nice paint and interior has no rips. She was a little self conscious about the engine compartment, but it was not really bad at all...

She's interested in learning how to wrench on her own car, so I will try to show her how. She found another woman at the cruise spot and is talking about starting a "muscle car women" club. Nothing wrong with that, we like to see woman cruising. I think her and Rani would get along real good. She has the enthusiasm like Rani, just needs to learn how to work on them.

Hi Ben. I'm glad I'm not alone in here anymore...

What's up with you?

Nice car! The engine would look a lot better with just a high pressure wash!

Good morning peeps!

Slow start to the day. Gonna try and finish building a parts washer today. I'll try welding sober and see if things go any better!

She's got a nice looking ride. Nothing wrong with that engine compartment. Looks better than something somebody has hacked up and half-assed..

We adjusted the choke on the wagon last night, now we need to see why it idles up intermittantly. I think there is something obstructing the cable, but it's hard to get it to hang up in the driveway, it usually happens when you are driving and let off the gas, it idles up.

We need to drive it around until it happens, and then shut it off right away and look while it's still hanging up. I can't get it to hang up in the driveway just playing with the throttle from underhood, but it does seem that the ferrule for the throttle cable may be hitting the linkage bracket....

The older kid took it to work this morning, so we'll see if we can look at it later...

The carb is new and maybe 1k - 2k miles on it, shouldn't be worn...

Fun problems to chase. I got an electric choke setup for the slant i need to install. Hopefully it doesn't create an issues.
