In the 1/4 mile, all other things being kept the same, 320 lbs weight loss equals 0.32 secs quicker ET as a rule of thumb.

However, where you lose it and how it changes traction or weight transfer determines what (if any) actual gains you will see.
 
Losing weight in the rear of an already front-end heavy vehicle will likely fubar traction and the theoretical gains can turn into actual losses in ET. Spinning isn't winning.

Just came in from the garage. Corvette sitting in there cleaned up, wiped down , hand glazed, ready to go. I am Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My FIL is going to pick it up tomorrow.:thumbsup:
 
Did change the oil tonight. Just changed it the other week. It has an electric fuel pump and I had been cycling the key playing with the windows and sure enough it smelled gassy and was a quart high. lol
