I was originally going to put the Duster in a show at the local park tomorrow. Don't have my seat cover yet anyway. Hopefully have that soon. Even if I get it soon, might not put it on till after Carlisle weekend. Who's going there?

whats everyone doing for the 4th? Nothing at all going on here.
Well ! Hopping the race track is dryed after this heavy rain we got just now so we can watch the sprint cars race and my son in supermod race, a big 4th show tonight, then I may go fishing tomorrow morning ... Good morning coffee crew !

That's a good plan Mike. Hey Chris!
I am actually looking forward to next weekend at the Mitch estate, I might do a detour to pick up another dist tester.

Just for a ride, or on the field?
Ride, There is no class for that car, actually in August here the firehouse is having a show might enter it there, You should bring the duster up also, Andy will have his 66 Belve there also. Think it is 20 to enter, fundraiser for the volunteer fire house.

Taking Pop where ??

Gooood mornin..
Just to Carlise for the show it will not be in the event just at the guard base where I can park for free! Right outside gate 3, takes the hassle out of finding a place to park there.

Dam this is a happy customer.

I asked the FABO member halifaxhops if he could rebuild a distributor for me. My engine is a 1975, 360, but it is modified a bit, not a lot, and I told him my engine specs, He said he had a 1975 distributor he could rebuild for me and put an added 2 degrees to the vacuum advance for me. Well he did, and I put it on. The engine really improved, I mean significantly. It accelerates much quicker when not in gear, and when driving there is a very noticeable improvement.

I had an “Over the Counter” Cordone that was rebuilt which I got from a parts house in it. The years it covered were from 1972-1983 I believe... Way to much of a spread for it to be accurate for each specific engine’s needs. The difference was night and day. You would think I had bought some kind of performance kit and installed it. I mean it wasn’t like nitrous, but it really brought my engine to life.

I highly recommend halifaxhops when it comes to rebuilding distributors. He will rebuild mine the next time it needs it, for certain.
