I'll have to look what the classes are at Carlisle. The show I did at the local vo-tech classes sucked. I entered as 'most original' I asked what they meant and it was intended to mean original as in factory, correct for mine. Looking at other entries, I think a lot of people thought it meant most customized. other categories were trucks, best paint, best interior, etc. So even though it is one of the most diverse shows around, probably 90%+ were in same class. :BangHead:

No, it was a custom grind...

Call them and ask them what they would recommend...

The ex's car was going stock intake and 1 bbl, you are going with 4 bbl and header and may be able to use something a little more aggressive...

Call Crower Cams and tell the tech guy what you have and what you are doing with it, they will come up with a grind for you... You may need to send in a core cam for them if they are out of the slant 6 cores... You may be able to run more duration than she did with your better induction system and free-er-er exhaust...

That has that electronic vac retard right make sure it holds vac before sending it, they are a pia every one I have leak and two were sent to me and needed them. $$$$$
 
the 4th look like it's good to be a awesome day here weather wise - hopefully I can get the lions share of the garage clean out done

I have the original stock 70 440 six pack dual point with only 20 k miles on it.... It should have the "regular" vac advance on it since it was before electronic...

If it is it looks big, common on 70 &71 HP big blocks, when you shut the car off it retards the vac to stop the dieseling. If it only has 20k on it I would just oil the advance on it it should be fine, know where to oil it? I never knew till I got into these either.
