Stop in for a cup of coffee

I wish I could be at Mitch's place for Lift Day but unfortunately I'm required to be covering a conference next weekend. :(

Carlise is off my list permanently with my back and knees. I just can't hike the place anymore and I'm not ready to go rolling around there in a motorized chair. I'm not feeble enough to do that and too young to not give a **** about doing it...yet.

My friend and I were talking about going to the Nats. We are going a day early just to get a golf car. That saves us old farts.

Actually, it says no alcoholic beverages. It's also on the property of the local high school which means there are at least 3 additional State charges they can stick me with if I were to bring beer in there...so I'm staying home within the sovereign nation of me and enjoying the show from here. :D

Tell them that the sign is wrong...

You know Chris...it just isn't right to wear your fanny pack in the front like that it's just not in style. Especially when you have your loose change in it. Wait....that is a fanny pack isn't it? OMG!!!!

Well sorta, the "load" in the shorts seems to have shifted to the front...

Reference "Squirrel man" from Ron White...

Weather was dry here so it was a smooth night at work. I served a big family in a private room and they were as nice as could be. Here's the dessert I made.

Only had one minor mishap at Doug's FIL tonight...

They were lighting fireworks off at the end of their driveway... I see someone lighting one and think, "I hope it doesn't hit that power line"...

No sooner did I think that, then a mortar shell goes off, hits the power line, and then to the ground about 10 feet from me where the rest of the fireworks were.... I turn around to start running away from it and it explodes and a piece hit me and Noah (Doug's sun) in the leg... Luckily, it just hurt a little and didn't break the skin at all for both of us...

PSA: Before lighting fireworks ---> LOOK UP!!!!

Last night I ate two strings and today they came out tied together...

I **** you knot....

I am still in a lot of pain today, really want to go to Mitches this weekend though prob will just be biting the bullet on it and go. The dog is going to the daughters when I am gone, lol payback for all the times I doggie sat! The other dog they have grew up with Harley and they just play all day, fun to watch, now the other one is prob 100 lbs, think the house will be a disaster when she goes to work Friday!

Was going through the RB cores yesterday running numbers and tagging them, found a 65, 426 4bbl AT/MT think that one will be built next!
