We had a good storm yesterday. Came down in sheets for a while, it was coming off my porch roof in a waterfall, but didn't fill the creek halfway...

If it's what we had yesterday coming over on the trade wind, then you should get a good one...

anyone hear from Mitch?

I went to visit my buddy Doug last night, and when I got home and made a pass through FABO, I had a PM from him that he's stuck at the airport...

I called him (it was an hour after he pm'ed me, and he'd found a hotel that was a little cheaper, but they are still getting him good. Those hotels near the airport rip off the stuck traveler...

So he's stuck here until 3PM as he missed his layover because they were delayed taking off due to the rain and they didn't have another flight after that for him to catch...


I'm going to try to pick him up and hang out with him for a bit until his flight. Maybe I can get him down here for an ice cream. We have a nice old ice cream parlor here that has home made hand made ice cream...

But I have to go get another iPass card (for the toll road) as I drained mine Sunday going to visit the family near the airport...


Paging Mitch, paging Mitch... Has anybody seen Mitch???
 
Oh, and the new girl that joined with the Dart had a problem where it wouldn't start the other day. So she had it towed to my house yesterday so we can look at it. She could not get it started, and when it did, it ran rough and died. someone told her that it may need a fuel pump.

the guy tows it here and starts it getting it off the truck...

I don't want another shop to rip her off again, so I will help her and teach her what to do.

She wants to replace the fuel pump for piece of mind. I found a nice Carter replacement at summit for only $22, so I think that she's going to order that one and we can install it with her.

then the new leaf springs are supposed to come this afternoon, so we can at least work on those tomorrow.

My oldest son comes home from work and asked if we got another car when he saw the Dart in the driveway... I told him it was hers, but he took a few pictures, posed them on his face book saying, "I came home and we had another Dart in the driveway..."

I have lots of ideas, so I'm just waiting for him to make the next move... I can't say what all I have ready to go, but I guarantee it will rock his world. I know his weaknesses and I can exploit them....


I think that the village guys are starting to realize that they don't want to provoke me too much as there are consequences to getting me pissed off....


The village manager knows that if I he doesn't follow through with my complaints, I will go over his head to the mayor - I had to do it last year, so he knows that I'll do it again...

Well what do you know, I just found for refill cards in my desk drawer that I forgot I had...

Now I don't have to make the bank and store run...

Well, Mitch and I aren't going to get together today, he has to be at the airport by noon, so we postponed our meet-n-greet till his return trip. He has a 5 hour layover here, so we can have some time to hang out,then...

He's not posting today, but he's lurking... (I think he's mad at you guys/gals... J/K...)

1968 was the year when suddenly everyone loved green. Also the GM a-bodies were restyled and you would see many green LeManses, and Chargers, Polaras, Mustangs and Cougars too. Then for the next five years, about all you saw was green, and to this day people groan about green Mopars. But I would have to go with Medium Green Poly, because to me, green is the iconic 1968 color.

All of the old folks seemed to like the light metallic green, or as my ex and I used to call it "infamous green"...

It seemed like every old person drove an infamous green car....
