All cars look good black. Can't go wrong there (with really straight body work).

For me, there's a million black cars out there. I like seeing something a bit different.

well there is the new dilemma ...I have a new idea but it will be unique ...I mean real unique. something no one else has ever done.

but I think.....do I want to be that much out there or more conservative and blended in.

Ssssslllooowww :banghead: between my shoulder and dr. visits and other things I don't even want to think about along with waiting for an opening in the shop down the road (my friends 4 stall) I am ready and have everything to get her back on the road, another day another way :toothy1:

I hear you, that its a slow and long process to get a car going ...I am into the point of no return for body work lol

I tell ya one thing.......I forgot how much that aircraft chemical stripper burns. I got some on the arm and I didn't even realize till it started burning like a branding iron....holy cow that hurt.

the panels are all coming out cleaner than I thought they would.

this car has had body work done before but I think it was by a really good shop or someone who knew what they were doing. all the body work looked well prepped and the "bondo" that was in there was not overly thick .....just some skim coats where they needed to be.
 
I think my keyboard was sabotaged with catnip the way skidmark wants to get to it!
 
Looks like Rani has been doing some body work on the ol' wagon.
