Stop in for a cup of coffee

damn, i dont think im ever gonna be able to drag the polara home this summer. We got 1.5 inches of rain last night.... bring us to almost 8 inches since Monday (yeah yeah karl)
 
Slow day in here with Hoppy and Mitch at Carlisle. Not sure if Tike got out of work for it today. Yesterday was hot and humid here, but never got the T-storms they said we might see. Carlisle weather is pretty close to mine. Can be diff timing with passing storms though. If not already, they will likely be getting a little wet today. A band just rolled through here and soaked us pretty good. it looks like some about to hit there. Should have a few clear hours after that and then its anybody's guess for the afternoon. I plan to be there soon after the gates open Sat 7AM.

Been pretty quiet here too. A group of my local Mopar buddies are at Carlisle too. I get some texts and photos which helps. My wife and I were talking last night and she said she was surprised I didn't go. Next year dear! LOL

im hoping to get to go next year. We'll see. if not, it'll be 2019 most likely. I'll be out of the guard at that point. Unless I get talked into staying for my final 6 years to retire. I can't decided lol
 
I have decided to get one of these. My wife owes me a birthday and Fathers day present. LOL I'll give my old gasser to my oldest son.

The big white tent in the Nats photo is the FABO tent that HemiDenny and his group puts up.(a member here) He has quite a display of high end cars (most are also members here) and always has specialty cars on display. They welcome FABO members. @HemiDenny

and normally i'd agree, but this would infact be a big change. No more weekends away from the kids, no more stressing about missing ****, i just dont know how to explain it.
