out go those two junk TV's in the basement, some BS old receivers, all the crap I got out of the loft area in the garage last weekend... I wonder if propane tanks would be a problem....

I'd be surprised if they still take electronics. Most areas that's a separate thing now. When we closed down at work, we filled a bunch of dumpsters. Had to take electronics in separate... What size propane? The little torch bottles I have always thrown in trash after leaving open for a while.

yea - the place I go to stopped taking electronics about a year ago - f**ked me up good too - - I wasn't done getting that kind of **** outta here yet. The tanks are those typical white grill ones - 5gal.?

so - do I be an *** and do what I want and bury them so they don't see the TV's etc. until it's too late or do I still go ahead and toss them in there but make sure they can be easily seen..???

The 20lb type for typical gas grill? Best thing to do is trade them in on a full one.

I know it ain't what you want to hear, but don't think I would put them in. If they take it and then refuse it, or try to charge the roofer extra, could become your problem...

I do have some electronics to get rid of myself. I need to find out where, but the county has somewhere we can drop them off.

I took down some old gutters yesterday and they went into it, but now I am thinking "hey, it says no mattresses or tires" on the side of it, but that's it. I looked up the co. and their web site says from house repairs to basement clean-outs, we got you covered.. I think I am going to test that.

If they ask, tell them that the gutters and tires were in the basement so they are "legal" to put in the container... Part of the basement "cleanout"...

Fill the rest of 'er up...
that's the general plan. I spent yesterday working on gutters, my back and neck are bugging me pretty good today so that whole over the head, looking up thing is taking a break... but I can toss stuff into a dumpster and lug stuff up the stairs for sure... I think they will come and get it tomorrow - there's my motivator

oh, they give you a credit for them? I had no idea
Some just refill yours, usually a lot cheaper to buy gas that way. but around here we have Amerigas, and Rhino that take your used one and you get a different one back. Doesn't help if you have too many cylinders though. They won't give any 'extra credits'
