Well if you all don't hear from me for a couple days, my grandmother is on her death bed, most likely gonna be any moment now. She's not had water for going on 5 days. She's just in a deep sleep. And fighting pneumonia

Honestly, not sure how I'll feel on this one. She literally disowned me in December of 1999 after my grandfather passed. She's actually my step grandmother. Told me she never wanted to see me again on Christmas Day and honestly, not seen her since

Kind of like my mother. She has disowned me and is now on her death bed. BUT who do you think is paying the hospice care?

Sorry to hear that. But I can tell you from recent personal experience, someone dying doesn't change what was happening before. If she made those decisions and never reached out to change them, they stand as they were.

Your only obligation is to do what you feel is right...and nothing more.

Good luck and we'll all be here.

Ummmm...in poker this is called a "tell"...

The Washington Post recently reported that Trump has inquired about the authority he has as president to pardon aides, relatives or even himself in connection with the widening investigation into Russian interference in the election and whether any Trump associates were involved.

Uh yeah... I was thinking that when I heard it on the news...

He thinks he can pardon everyone including himself out of that mess...

If they didn't do anything wrong, then why are they asking???? :wtf:

What was wrong with it???
Yesterday the alternator shorted out killing the battery stranding my wife and daughter. It started making a loud whining noise the day before and she didn't have a chance to get it into the shop before it died.

With my work schedule, I didn't have the time to check it out when the noise started.

They fixed it faster than the tow company took to deliver it... :BangHead:

Nearly. They had it diagnosed it by 11 am today and had the work done by 2 pm. They also cross-checked the PCM and secondary control modules to make sure the alternator frying didn't do damage to any other systems. All checked out fine.

That's "lucky"??

They've had 2 people killed in the last month by tires on the interstate so yeah

Well, first they'd have to be charge right?

Well, first they'd have to be charged right?

Nope. They would need to be convicted before they can be pardoned according to the DoJ.

"Under the Constitution, only federal criminal convictions, such as those adjudicated in the United States District Courts, may be pardoned by the President. Under the Department of Justice's rules governing petitions for executive clemency, 28 C.F.R. §§ 1.1 et seq., an applicant must satisfy a minimum waiting period of five years before he becomes eligible to apply for a presidential pardon of his federal conviction. The waiting period, which is designed to afford the petitioner a reasonable period of time in which to demonstrate an ability to lead a responsible, productive and law-abiding life, begins on the date of the petitioner's release from confinement. Alternatively, if the conviction resulted in a sentence that did not include any form of confinement, including community or home confinement, the waiting period begins on the date of sentencing."
