What do you guys think about the 68 formula S Baracuda that was just purchased, shipped, NOW he wants to resale? Seems a little strange to me. I do get it is his money and he can do WTF he wants with it but......

The reason I ask, I'm thinking about making an offer.....

two thoughts come to mind.

Either he did get bored with it and needs the money for his home, which is reasonable, or option B, there's a MAJOR issue with the car and its gonna require extra money to fix right. If youre gonna make an offer, I'd at least fly down and fully check the car out

I am thinking the second.....Transmission come to mind....I can drive to look at it, round trip in a long day....

I think after what he went through to get it, he shouldn't sell it...

I think it's asking to much for someone else to cover the cost of the car and his shipping...

But if you want it, go for it and give him an offer...

Agree on BOTH of you points.

How could someone get bored with a 4 speed 340-S????

looks like a great car. More money than I'd part with for one, but that's cuz I'm an inherently cheap bastard! He did get bored with it awfully quick tho. I'd want to see it on person before I pulled the trigger.

that is my guess. To me, thats a reasonable fix. unless there's frame rot/damage, mechanical stuff can be fixed easily.

that or his wife got mad at what he spent on it..... wouldnt be the first guy to suffer that fate. that said, it is HIS right to sell it and if I had the cash, I'd make an offer on it.

He won't get what he wants from me, But if he needs money, I can give him a fair deal IMO. Maybe...

it has a custom Dana axle, I believe the original 8 3/4 axle also went with it... Grab that with it...

And as soon as you repair the rust in the lower quarters, you ruin the survivor value. Will need paint.

Nickels and dimes....
and lots of these
